Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Infrastructure Systems Administrator in Chantilly, VA to install, configure, and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows systems across on‑premises, cloud, and virtual environments, while ensuring RMF compliance and security hardening. You will monitor performance, apply patches, and document changes for client success and mission readiness.

This role requires 10+ years of Linux experience, RHEL 8/9, AWS, virtualization, containerization

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Linux systems experience.
• Experience with RHEL 8/9 and scripting.
• Experience with AWS and virtualization.
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Podman/Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of system hardening and networking (IPv4, SSH, firewalls).
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage RHEL and Windows OS.
• Assess system performance and RMF compliance.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Communicate with clients on risks, challenges, options.
• Identify opportunities to modernize the network and mentor team.
