Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Linux engineer and automation specialist to design, deploy, and grow automated solutions for a mission-critical enterprise environment in Reston, VA.

You will build automation frameworks, enforce best practices, and mentor teammates while focusing on scalable infrastructure and reducing operational risk. A TS/SCI clearance and DoD IT security experience are required for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience administering Linux-based environments (RHEL)
• Experience managing configuration at scale with Ansible and drift detection
• Experience with IaC technologies (Ansible, Terraform, Salt, Puppet, or Chef)
• Experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Experience in U.S. federal government or DoD IT security environments (STIG/RMF/NIST)
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph
• Education/experience mix as listed (Assoc/Bach/Master) with IT project support
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT III certification within 30 days of start
