Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a seasoned System Administrator and Cyber Analyst to install, configure, and manage RHEL and Windows systems across physical, virtual, and cloud environments. You will ensure cyber compliance, document configurations, and communicate risks and solutions to clients.

You will play a key role in maintaining and upgrading network infrastructure, applying patches, and supporting mission-critical operations for warfighter support across DoD programs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Linux systems engineering or administration.
• Experience with RHEL 8 or 9.
• Experience in shell scripting and automation.
• Experience with monitoring and cybersecurity tools (ACAS, STIG, SCAP, Nessus).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hypervisor, KVM).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of system hardening and networking concepts.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage RHEL and Windows operating systems.
• Ensure systems meet client needs and RMF compliance.
• Assess performance and author documentation for changes and troubleshooting.
• Communicate technical challenges and solutions to the client.
• Identify improvements in a mission-crucial network and document findings.
