Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Systems Engineer to support enterprise Windows and Red Hat environments, including AD, Group Policy, VMware, and automation with Ansible. You will help deploy updates, harden security, and troubleshoot across data center and server rooms.

A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required, along with DoD 8570 IAT II certification and HS diploma or GED. This role focuses on reliable, secure, and compliant IT infrastructure within classified networks, offering opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience administering and troubleshooting RHEL 8 and RHEL 9 in enterprise or classified environments, including system hardening, SELinux, firewall management, logging, and secure configuration baselines
• Experience performing regular Linux server patching, applying security updates, and remediating findings from compliance or security scans
• Experience administering and maintaining Windows Server 2019 and 2022 systems, including configuration, patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, and managing Active Directory and Group Policy in secure enterprise environments
• Experience administering RHEL Server, VMware, vSphere 8, Active Directory, and Group Policy in a secure or enterprise environment
• Experience with server room or data center environments, and performing OS-level troubleshooting, including service failures, performance issues, and hardware or virtualization interactions across Linux and Windows
• Experience using Ansible Automation Platform or Ansible playbooks to automate system configuration, patching, and routine administration tasks
• Ability to support system deployment, security hardening, and ongoing maintenance of both Windows and RHEL systems within classified networks
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ CE Certification
