National Grid seeks Rated Lineworkers for anticipated positions at Central Massachusetts locations including Spencer, Monson, Worcester, Leominster and Athol. Pay rate is $63.63 per hour with safety-focused requirements under DOT rules.

Candidates must be proficient Lineworker 1/C, familiar with safety and construction standards, and hold valid licenses and DOT certificates. This unionized role emphasizes safety, accuracy in records, and teamwork across the crew.

Competenze

• Be proficient as a Lineworker 1/C demonstrated by proficiency, testing and past performance.
• Familiar with all Safety Standards and DOT regulations.
• Hold a valid motor vehicle operator's license without transmission restrictions.
• Maintain DOT health and hoisting certificates as required.
• Furnish off-hour contact information by telephone.
• Familiar with keeping payroll, material usage and condition records.

Mansioni

• Perform all duties of a Lineworker 1/C and/or Single Person Worker duties.
• Direct and train overhead line crew personnel when needed.
• Follow National Grid environmental policies.
• Maintain records and procure stock as needed.
• Install and remove meters on single-phase services.
• Contribute to crew productivity, safety, and knowledge.
• Act as Field Control Authority and handle Red Tags responsibilities.
