Job summary

Tri-County Electric Cooperative is seeking a Line Superintendent to provide strategic leadership of operations, ensuring safe, reliable electric service. You will oversee personnel, contractors, and system performance while coordinating with Engineering and System Operations to execute projects and maintenance tasks.

The role requires extensive experience in electric distribution, strong leadership, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance, with a full-time, on-site work arrangement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Seven (7) years in electric utility construction and maintenance.
• Five (5) years of progressive supervisory or leadership experience.
• Valid Texas Driver's License or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership of operations to align with organizational goals and system reliability.
• Lead, develop, and hold operations personnel accountable for performance and safety.
• Ensure safe, reliable construction, maintenance, and inspection of the distribution system.
• Oversee contractor performance, work quality, and invoice accuracy.
• Coordinate with Engineering and System Operations to execute projects and maintenance activities.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify and resolve operational risks, hazards, and system issues.
