Job summary

Saber Power Services is seeking an experienced Lineman Superintendent to lead field operations for transmission and distribution projects. You will supervise crews, coordinate equipment and schedules, and ensure work is performed safely and to project specs.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in electrical line construction, journeyman lineman certification, and CDL; travel to project locations and work extended hours as needed. OSHA/NESC standards adherence is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in electrical transmission and distribution line construction/maintenance.
• Journeyman Lineman certification or equivalent preferred.
• Class A CDL required or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, NESC, safety practices and electrical standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily field operations for overhead and underground projects.
• Lead linemen, foremen, apprentices, and subcontractor personnel.
• Plan manpower, equipment, materials, and work activities to meet schedules.
• Review drawings, specs, and job requirements to ensure scope understanding.
• Oversee construction, maintenance, and repair of lines and equipment.
• Coordinate with project managers and customers on progress and issues.
• Enforce safety policies, fall protection and PPE; conduct safety meetings.
• Read blueprints and troubleshoot field electrical issues.
• Travel to project locations and work extended hours as needed.
