Job summary

MCR Hotels in Rosemont, IL is seeking a Cook III to prepare meals for the restaurant according to standardized recipes while upholding the highest quality and presentation standards.

You will maintain cleanliness, follow health regulations, assist with station prep before opening, and support cost controls by minimizing waste. Previous kitchen experience is preferred, and you must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must be able to obtain Food Handlers Certification.
• Must have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals in accordance with brand standards and recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with health regulations.
• Complete necessary food and station preparations prior to opening to ensure prompt service.
• Know the location and operation of safety equipment.
• Assist in storage and rotation of food items according to hotel procedures.
• Minimize waste and maximize cost/production ratio.
• Other duties as assigned.
