Job summary

The Maybourne Beverly Hills is seeking a Cook III to assist the kitchen team with station prep and execution, following exact recipe specs while upholding quality and sanitation standards. You will support production prep, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain a safe kitchen environment.

Requires 1-year culinary experience or equivalent; must read English, work well under pressure, and team with colleagues. Willingness to work weekends/holidays is expected in this luxury hotel setting.

Qualifications

• 1-year culinary experience or culinary equivalent
• Must possess good attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
• Must possess the ability to read, understand and communicate verbally in English
• Display proficient knife skills and knowledge of basic cuts
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions

Responsibilities

• Report to work in uniform at posted scheduled times.
• Review station needs in conjunction with fellow line cooks and/sous chef
• Assist the team with daily quality control checks.
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment at all times.
• Follow sanitation and cleanliness policies; ensure station is ready to serve 15 minutes before service.
• Ensure the station is ready to serve and communicate any issues to supervisor.
• Keep par stocks at proper levels; adjust production as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by hotel management.
