White Lodging is hiring an experienced Senior Line Cook for 8Eleven Modern Bistro at Union Club Hotel on Purdue's campus in West Lafayette, IN. The role leads in a fast-paced, upscale hotel kitchen, mentors junior cooks, and ensures top-tier food quality and consistency across mise en place to plating.

You will work to uphold health codes, oversee production, and contribute to a respectful, high-performance kitchen culture while supporting guest satisfaction in a premier Purdue dining

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Proficiency in multiple cooking techniques and station work.
• Culinary degree or apprenticeship preferred — not required.

Responsibilities

• Mentor entry-level cooks and apprentices; oversee daily prep and production.
• Execute BOH operations following F&B procedures, health codes, and guidelines.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation at all times.
• Help maintain food cost and labor cost targets.
• Check ingredient freshness; uphold recipe standards and portions.
