Drift Santa Barbara is seeking a Senior Line Cook to join our design-forward hotel kitchen. You will execute dishes to the brand’s standards and contribute to a high-volume, guest-focused dining program in a hospitality setting.

The role requires 2+ years of kitchen experience, a solid understanding of food safety, and the ability to work across multiple stations with teamwork and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional kitchen experience in high-volume settings.
• Proficiency across multiple stations and strong time management.
• Solid food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Collaborative mindset with kitchen leadership.
• Able to follow recipes and standardized preparation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute menu items to recipes and standards.
• Maintain a designated station and proper mise en place before service.
• Execute high-quality food with consistent timing and portioning.
• Work efficiently during high-volume service with organization.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and storage standards.
• Monitor product levels and communicate prep needs to leadership.
• Label, date, store, and rotate food products.
• Support opening/closing and kitchen organization as needed.
• Train and support newer line cooks and teammates.
• Communicate with culinary team and FOH during service.
