Job summary

ilani is seeking a committed line cook to join our culinary team in the United States. You will prep, prepare and deliver high-quality meals as part of a fast-paced operation that emphasizes guest satisfaction and consistent standards.

You should have at least 2 years of line cook experience in a high-volume setting, strong teamwork and communication skills, and the physical ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and adherence to health standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent acceptable.
• At least 2 years of line cook experience in a high-volume outlet.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Promotes superior guest service.
• Maintains and perpetuates a positive organizational culture.
• Executes cooking duties quickly and with quality.
• Prepare and assign production and prep work for line cooks.
• Assist in ingredient prep, cleaning, chopping, and portioning.
• Act as intermediary between leadership and front-line staff.
• Monitor daily line checks for quality and food-safety compliance.
• Train and mentor line cooks in proper prep and hygiene techniques.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work area.
• Cook dishes under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.
• Proactively communicate with kitchen team and maintain confidentiality.
