Responsibilities


WHAT YOU'LL DO

* Mentor entry-level cooks and apprentices, along with daily preparation and production of food in their outlet

* Utilize company F&B procedures, health department regulations, and federal guidelines

* Follow proper food handling and storage procedures

* Maintain food and labor costs

* Check freshness of ingredients and ensure all recipes and portion control records are followed

* Be aware of guest feedback scores and work to improve rankings

* Foster a climate of cooperation and respect among coworkers

* Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

* Knowledge of all cooking and preparation equipment

* Basic cooking skills, e.g., sautéing, broiling, frying, roasting, butchery, garde manger, pantry, breakfast cookery, etc.

* Culinary education or apprenticeship preferred but not mandatory

* Ability to stand and move quickly for long periods
