Responsibilities

What you'll do:

• Mentor entry-level cooks & apprentices, and participate in the daily preparation and production of food.
• Utilize company F&B procedures, health department regulations, and federal guidelines.
• Follow proper food handling and storage procedures.
• Maintain food and labor costs.
• Check the freshness of foods and ingredients, and ensure all recipes and portion records are followed.
• Monitor guest feedback scores and contribute to improving rankings.
• Foster a climate of cooperation and respect among coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring:

• Knowledge of all cooking and preparation equipment.
• Basic cooking skills such as sautéing, broiling, frying, roasting, butchery, garde manger, pantry, and breakfast cookery.
• Culinary education or apprenticeship preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to stand and move quickly for long periods.
