Job summary

University of California, Davis Health is seeking a System Director for Laboratory Data Exchange (LDX) with extensive data integration and LIMS leadership experience. You will shape policy, coordinate with CDPH leadership, and guide enterprise-grade LIMS solutions and data workflows.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data security, and strategic analytics to advance public health objectives across state and UC Davis teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS or Computer Science, or bachelor's degree in life sciences with training and experience in Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• At least six (6) years in a senior data integration and data services role.
• At least six (6) years coordinating organization-wide, complex application development with diverse teams.
• At least five (5) years SME experience troubleshooting and resolving organization-wide performance issues.
• Strong ability to develop, author, and launch business initiatives for large projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of the LDX system and data exchange initiatives.
• Ensure QA and compliance of the Laboratory Information System.
• Manage Cal-LIMS/E-LIMS business and stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee system administration, training, and technical support.
