Job summary

Evernorth’s Community Investments team seeks a Community Investments Senior Analyst to advance LIHTC acquisitions, assess opportunities, and support due diligence through closing. The role collaborates with Investment Officers to structure deals, analyze market data, and ensure compliance with underwriting standards.

The position emphasizes financial modeling, data management, and cross-team coordination across New England and national events.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in multi-family, affordable housing, community development, economic development, or real estate financing fields.
• Knowledge or interest in affordable housing, LIHTC, or related federal financing programs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and recommend LIHTC project opportunities with moderate oversight.
• Support pre-closing due diligence, financial modeling, and underwriting of LIHTC investments.
• Review developer proformas, tax credit applications, appraisals, market studies, and financial statements.
• Identify risks, market trends, and conformance with underwriting standards.
• Assist in structuring transactions and preparing investment proposals for committees.
• Maintain project data in Evernorth database and pipeline.
• Lead proformas, spreadsheets, and reports for underwriting and investors.
• Provide technical support to proforma templates and ongoing education.
