Capital One seeks a Senior Manager in Community Finance Originations – Multi-fund, based in McLean, VA, to lead LIHTC multi-fund origination with established developer and syndicator connections.

You will navigate regulatory and credit constraints, provide market intelligence to shape sourcing, and drive deal flow while aligning with internal teams to ensure compliance and process improvements, with incentive opportunities included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• 5+ years in business development, underwriting, asset or portfolio management in affordable housing or CRE.
• 11+ years in affordable housing or community development (preferred).
• 3+ years with LIHTC (preferred).
• 4+ years in community development lending or investments (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identify, source and lead origination of LIHTC multi-funds.
• Cultivate relationships with Syndicators leveraging connections.
• Provide market intelligence to inform sourcing strategy and deal flow.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure regulatory and credit policy compliance.
• Contribute to process improvements to boost operational efficiency.
• Represent Capital One in industry boards and community engagements.
