Job summary

Clair Global in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a System Designer & Estimator Lighting to support Sales and Engineering in design and estimation. You will translate customers’ functional requirements from RFPs into bills of materials, quotes and functional narratives that describe a fully functional lighting system.

You will collaborate with the Salesperson to choose optimal solutions, review drawings for accuracy, author change orders, and respond to technical questions from Operations, ensuring timely

Qualifications

• 7 years of design, installation, or production experience in lighting.
• Deep knowledge of theatrical and architectural lighting systems.
• Proficient with Lightwright, Vectorworks and ETC products.
• Ability to read RFPs and prepare BOMs and quotes.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Supports Engineering, Operations and Installation teams.
• Translate customer requirements into BOMs, quotes, and narratives.
• Review drawings and author change orders.
• Attend project meetings and liaise with Sales.
• Maintain knowledge of new technologies and vendor relationships.
