Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior in Supply Chain Manufacturing to design, build, test, and deploy digital solutions for regulated plant operations. You will connect production, quality, laboratory, engineering, and supply chain needs with deployable technology across the lifecycle, from assessments to deployment and stabilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, information systems, computer science, supply chain, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant Life Sciences manufacturing, manufacturing systems, automation, industrial data, systems implementation, technology consulting, or related experience.
• Experience with manufacturing or quality processes in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical-device, or regulated environment.
• Experience producing technical or functional delivery artifacts (requirements, process maps, data mappings, interface specs, configuration docs, test scripts, deployment materials).
• Experience collaborating with operational stakeholders and technical delivery teams to investigate requirements and resolve issues.
• Ability to travel as needed; travel ranges 80-100%.

Responsibilities

• Assess workflows, user needs, system interfaces, equipment data, and pain points through observation, interviews, workshops, and data review.
• Document process flows, user stories, functional requirements, data mappings, and acceptance criteria for digital manufacturing solutions.
• Support design/implementation of MES/MOM, eDHRs, recipe management, batch genealogy, and plant performance reporting.
• Trace information across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, historians, SCADA, DCS/PLC, and asset-management platforms; identify gaps and dependencies.
• Develop equipment and batch hierarchies, data-quality rules, and contextualized datasets with manufacturing and data teams.
• Interface with solution architects on API, connectivity, and data movement between plant, edge, and enterprise systems.
• Configure or prototype solution components; document design decisions for client/lead review.
• Prepare and execute functional/integration test scripts; record defects; maintain traceability to requirements.
• Support deployment readiness, cutover, user training, hyper-care, and handover with clear technical documentation.
• Coordinate with client quality/validation teams on GxP, data integrity, electronic records, change control, and computer system validation.
• Contribute to analytics/AI use cases by assessing source data quality and manufacturing context.
• Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and next steps to client counterparts and engagement leaders.
