Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Beaverton, OR to provide leadership for highly complex projects within the National Life Science/Pharma group. The role emphasizes safety, cost control, subcontractor management, and cross-functional coordination with owner, design team, vendors, and field staff.

You will oversee preconstruction, bidding, procurement, scheduling, and change management while driving project profitability and timely delivery across the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and creates awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment and mentoring others.
• Manages prestart checklist form and supports preconstruction team with quantity takeoff, trade coordination, and scope development.
• Leads buyout schedule, verifies pricing and scope, and manages subcontractor bidding and award.
• Manages submittal schedule; coordinates priorities; reviews shop drawings and samples for approval.
• Prepares, submits and obtains owner/architect approval for change requests; leads monthly project reviews and OAC meetings.
• Prepares monthly cost and margin forecast; participates in budgeting and cost control; reviews costs relative to budget.
