Job summary

Cannon Building, a premier general contractor in life sciences and healthcare, is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead complex life science construction projects in the San Diego region. You will guide project planning, budgets, and schedules, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to GMP/GLP standards.

Reporting to the Project Operations Manager, you will mentor the project team, lead coordination meetings, manage subcontractors, and drive quality and safety across all phases,

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or BS preferred.
• 7–10 years of life science construction project management experience.
• Proficient in MS Office; Procore or similar PM software.
• Knowledge of GMP/GLP and life sciences facilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage project submittals and schedules.
• Prepare and monitor project schedule; coordinate with Superintendent.
• Participate in end-of-month financial reviews.
• Verify owner/client and subcontractor billings.
• Lead project meetings and ensure obligations are fulfilled.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Utilize Procore to manage documentation and costs.
