Job summary

Cannon Building is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead life sciences construction in the San Diego region. You will manage schedules, budgets, and client satisfaction while mentoring team members and coordinating with owners, architects, and consultants.

Ideal candidates will have 7–10 years in construction PM for life sciences, strong regulatory knowledge, and familiarity with BIM and Procore. Travel to project sites in the San Diego area is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a construction-related field and at least 7–10 years’ PM experience in life sciences.
• Strong knowledge of GMP/GLP and regulatory requirements for life sciences facilities.
• Experience with risk management, budgeting, and vendor contract management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage submittals, schedules, and budgets for complex life science projects.
• Lead project meetings, document minutes, and ensure team alignment with owners and stakeholders.
• Oversee contract compliance, change management, and closeout activities.
