Job summary

Longhorn Village is seeking an experienced Life Enrichment Coordinator to lead activity programming and wellness initiatives for a senior community in Austin, TX. You will coordinate volunteers, transportation, and resident activities, while maintaining records and ensuring program quality.

Under the Director of Clinical Services, you will supervise staff, collaborate with departments, and promote activities through newsletters and events.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation for senior residents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and coordinate with staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Develop, organize and coordinate activities and wellness programs.
• Coordinate volunteer programs and transportation for residents.
• Maintain records including attendance, calendars, budgets and council minutes.
• Supervise coordinators and volunteers; recruit, train and evaluate staff.
• Ensure compliance with policies and promote activity programming across departments.
• Prepare and attend meetings and contribute to staff development.
