Zusammenfassung

Hcshiring is seeking an Activities Director to lead a Life Enrichment program for seniors and individuals with disabilities. The role is part-time, in-person, reporting to the facility Administrator, and focuses on enriching daily life through entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and creative pursuits.

The ideal candidate will have credentials in therapeutic recreation or NCCAP, or substantial experience in resident activities within healthcare, with a passion for caring for elderly and disabled

Qualifikationen

• Experience working with cognitive, physical, or sensory disabilities.
• Ability to plan, organize, and direct activity programs in a nursing/facility setting.
• Must be willing to complete state-approved training if not already certified.

Aufgaben

• Plan, organize, direct, and implement engaging activity programs for all residents.
• Provide targeted support to residents who are cognitively, physically, or emotionally impaired.
• Develop and manage a volunteer network to enrich community life.
• Maintain accurate documentation of program requirements and compliance.
