Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC is seeking an Activity Coordinator to assist with planning, executing, and evaluating the facility's activity program for residents. You will manage programs, coordinate transportation, and work with the Executive Director to maximize resident satisfaction.

The role requires clear English communication, a valid driver's license, and a compassionate, team-oriented approach. Experience in recreation or elder care is preferred; a professional demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

• Activity programming/recreation training and/or related experience preferred.
• Must enjoy working with the elderly and interacting with residents.
• Must be able to speak and write English clearly for resident communication.
• Computer skills preferred.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to assist residents on/off buses and move equipment, up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage the residents' activity program as directed by the Executive Director, including all programs (crafts, bingo, discussion, music group, etc.).
• Keep residents informed of schedule programs and complete required documentation; promote participation and satisfaction.
• Transport residents safely to activities and appointments within facility guidelines.
• Create new programs, trips, etc., based on residents' needs and requests.
• Support other departments as part of the team.
• Treat all residents with dignity and respect.
