Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife seeks a Life Enrichment Coordinator (Activities) Assistant to plan and implement cultural, educational, and leisure activities for residents. You will assist with transport, develop monthly calendars, and coordinate on- and off-campus trips to enrich residents’ quality of life.

The role requires 1–2 years of activity planning experience, a 90-hour Activity Training Certificate (preferred), and a current Ohio driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years experience in activities, program, or event planning.
• Candidate should be able to multi-task and work independently.
• Ability to present programs and engage older adults in activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate activities for residents.
• Plan Lifelong Learning opportunities for independent living residents and for off-campus trips.
• Arrange trips for skilled nursing residents (day, overnight, multi-day).
• Independently offer educational opportunities and present programs.
• Assist with monthly calendar, execute scheduled activities, and complete resident activity, spiritual, MDS assessments, and other duties.
