Job summary

The Aspenwood Company is hiring an Assisted Living Life Enrichment Assistant in Spring to develop and lead engaging activities for residents. You will involve seniors in on- and off-site events, ensuring all supplies are prepared and activities run smoothly across shifts, including weekends and holidays.

We expect strong communication and customer service skills, HIPAA understanding, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of activities experience with seniors.
• Compliance with state requirements for Assisted Living.
• Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing activities for seniors.
• Engage residents in on- and off-site activities and foster social connections.
• Prepare supplies for activities and events.
• Respond to needs of residents, families, and visitors with courtesy.
• Assist in creating monthly calendars and newsletters, and take photos.
• Coordinate with community resources and external entertainers.
• Be an active member of the emergency response team.
• Maintain professional appearance and hygiene per policy.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
