Job summary

Roaring Fork Senior Living in Glenwood Springs, CO, is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to join our Memory Care Life Enrichment team. You will plan, organize, and lead meaningful activities that support residents’ recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs, collaborating with the Life Enrichment Director to enhance quality of life and foster a warm, vibrant community.

We value prior experience with seniors and strong verbal/interpersonal communication.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience or training preferred providing life enrichment activities.
• Experience working with the senior population preferred.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, conducting, and evaluating the Memory Care life enrichment program.
• Participate in the development and implementation of activity care plans and resident assessments.
• Invite and encourage residents to attend and participate in daily activities.
• Involve the resident/family in planning activities that meet the goals and objectives of the resident.

Roaring Fork Senior Living, Glenwood Spring's premier senior living community, is seeking an outgoing Life Enrichment Assistant to join our Memory Care Life Enrichment team. In this role, you will work closely with the Life Enrichment Director to plan, organize, and lead meaningful activities that support the recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs of our Memory Care residents. You will help create a variety of engaging experiences designed to enhance each resident’s quality of life, promote wellness, and foster a supportive, vibrant community.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, conducting, and evaluating the Memory Care life enrichment program
• Participate in the development and implementation of activity care plans and resident assessments
• Invite and encourage residents to attend and participate in daily activities
• Involve the resident/family in planning activities that meet the goals and objectives of the resident

• Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and that this position works with a vulnerable population, we do require a criminal background check be completed

Pay

$20.50 - $21.50 an hour based on experience
