Job summary

The Aspenwood Company - Spring Creek Village seeks an energetic Life Enrichment Assistant to design and run engaging activities for residents at our Spring Creek Village community. This full-time role emphasizes promoting an active lifestyle, social connection, and resident involvement in both on-site and off-site events.

You will support monthly calendars, coordinate resources, and help the team create newsletters and collect photos for social media.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of activities experience with seniors.
• Compliance with state requirements for Assisted Living.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, and some Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing activities and events that promote an active lifestyle for residents.
• Actively involve residents in activities both on and off-site, encouraging participation and social connections.
• Ensure all supplies are prepared and ready for each activity and event.
• Respond to the needs of residents, families, and visitors with courteous assistance.
• Help the Director develop monthly calendars and newsletters and take photos for newsletters/social media.
• Assist in coordinating community resources and external entertainers to enhance resident experiences.
• Be an active member of the community’s emergency response team.
• Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene in line with company policies.
• Assist with special projects or tasks as needed.

Location: Spring Creek Village, an Independent and Assisted Living with Memory Care senior community

Pay Rate: $16.00/hr.

Full-Time

Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Availability for special events on other days/shifts is preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in developing and implementing activities and events that promote an active lifestyle for residents.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of prior activities experience with seniors.
• Compliance with state requirements for Assisted Living.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record in line with internal and insurance carrier requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
• Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, and some Excel.
