Job summary

The Villages of Indiana is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to plan and lead engaging activities for residents at our senior living community. This full-time role focuses on enriching daily life and promoting social engagement within a supportive team environment.

We offer a pay rate of $17 per hour, a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends, and generous paid time off along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum one to three years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holiday hours.
• Compassionate towards the senior population.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration of team.

Responsibilities

• Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars.
• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with planning and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment department.
• Supports the Life Enrichment Director and Life Enrichment Lead with administrative tasks as needed.
• Complete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safety.
• Support in proper setup, clean up, and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces.
• Support transportation by attending outings, coordinating relevant administrative tasks, and upholding safety practices.
• Adhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook.
