Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking a Senior Licensing Executive to support licensing of Intellectual Property onsite. You will negotiate licensing agreements, guide customers and sponsors, and manage relationships to ensure commercialization of Sandia technologies with a focus on delivering return on investment.

Required are a STEM degree and relevant graduate degree, plus several years in licensing or contract negotiations. DOE L clearance is required; PhD/JD are desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering STEM related field
• Relevant graduate degree in a STEM, or legal field
• Three years relevant experience negotiating and executing license agreements for patents and software
• Experience negotiating contracts and/or settlements with multiple parties
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Negotiate licensing agreements and respond to sponsor or customer needs
• Identify, develop, and implement near-term and long-term technology development strategies
• Provide technical, scientific and business guidance on licensing questions and issues
• Manage ongoing customer and sponsor relationships for Sandia
• Identify potential licensees and conduct sales calls
