Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC seeks a Licensing Supervisor to lead a team of licensing engineers, coordinating licensing activities and ensuring alignment with engineering deliverables.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 8+ years in engineering/licensing (5+ in nuclear), and NRC/10 CFR 810 knowledge. Domestic travel is required; remote work may be considered within the contiguous US with in-office requirement near Corvallis.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Science; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years in engineering, construction, operation, licensing or maintenance; 5+ years in nuclear field.
  • Industry requirements: Eligible to work under DOE 10 CFR Part 810.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate licensing work activities in support of NuScale licensing and related projects.
  • Oversee licensing/regulatory affairs for ongoing and future projects.
  • Direct oversight of NuScale and augmented staff work within the span of control.
  • Edit/review submittals to regulatory agencies; ensure regulatory alignment.
  • Develop regulatory strategy based on NRC guidance and industry practices.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required; participate in industry groups.
