Job summary

Timmons Group is seeking a Licensed Surveyor to join our Wilmington, NC office. This role involves managing projects and client accounts, and performing design-related surveying using Civil 3D, MicroStation, and related tools.

You will lead multiple projects, develop client relationships, prepare proposals, and ensure high quality deliverables while managing budgets and schedules. A bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, engineering or a scientific field and professional registration are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, engineering or a scientific area with professional registration.
• 6+ years of land surveying experience.
• Experience with Civil 3D, MicroStation or equivalent CAD software.
• Experience using Leica, Trimble or equivalent survey data reduction software.
• Knowledge of GPS/RTK technology and Laser Scanning is preferred.
• Understanding of project accounting and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects and client accounts; lead project teams.
• Marketing, client development, and maintaining client relationships.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate scopes and fees, and assist in collections.
• Ensure technical quality, profitability, and adherence to schedule.
• Perform surveys including ALTA/NSPS, boundary, Topo, and construction surveys.
