Job summary

Timmons Group in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Licensed Surveyor to join our Survey group. You will manage design surveying projects, coordinate client accounts, and lead field teams using Civil 3D and GPS/RTK tools.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Surveying/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Must be licensed (LS) in one or more states in which Timmons Group conducts business.
Has 5 to 10 years of surveying experience.
Working knowledge and experience using Civil 3D software.
Working knowledge and experience creating Machine Control Models.
Working knowledge and experience utilizing GPS/RTK technology.
Must have a thorough understanding of project accounting and demonstrated ability to manage the schedule and budget for multiple projects at the same time.
Has experience in client development and supervision of the technical work of others (field crews).

Responsibilities

Manage/lead design surveying projects and client accounts.
Market and develop clients, ensure technical quality, profitability, and schedules.
Coordinate project staff, communications with clients, and proposal preparation.
Cross-sell TG services and manage multiple projects efficiently.
