Job summary

Timmons Group seeks a Licensed Surveyor to join our Virginia Beach, VA office. You will manage multiple surveying projects, lead client development, and coordinate design teams using Civil 3D and GPS/RTK tools.

Responsibilities include client communications, proposal development, and ensuring project profitability and schedules. Requires LS license, 5–10 years' experience, and strong budgeting skills. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying/Engineering or equivalent.
• Must be licensed (LS) in one or more states where the company operates.
• 5 to 10 years of surveying experience.
• Experience with Civil 3D, machine control models and GPS/RTK.
• Strong project accounting and budgeting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects and client accounts successfully.
• Market, develop clients and ensure profitability and schedules.
• Lead and coordinate project staff, communicate with clients and teams.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate scopes/fees and assist in fee collection.
• Oversee design surveying work, including boundary/topographic/construction surveys.
