Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) seeks a seasoned Senior Land Surveyor to plan and direct survey operations. You will lead field crews, produce precise measurements, and ensure QA/QC across projects for public and private clients.

The role requires a TN-licensed surveyor, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting timelines and budgets. This on-site Nashville opportunity includes ESOP benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• Ten years of surveying experience.
• Licensed TN Professional Land Surveyor.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with InRoads/MicroStation and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local surveying regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble field data and perform survey calculations.
• Manage operations of multiple field crews.
• Provide quality control on project work.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets and billing.
• Responsible for client management on projects.
• Lead and manage team members; coaching and development.
