SSC Services For Education is hiring for a full‑time Senior Maintenance Technician (Licensed HVAC) in Canyon, TX. The role involves extensive maintenance of building systems, electrical and mechanical equipment, and supervision of a project team as needed.

Candidates must have at least three years of licensed HVAC experience, hold a relevant journeyman license, and be able to read blueprints. The position offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package with same‑day pay options.

Qualifications

• Three years of licensed HVAC experience.
• Specialization in one trade supported by an appropriate Journeyman license issued by the State.
• Must hold one of the following licenses: Journeyman Electrical, Registered ACR Technician with EPA certification in Refrigerant, Journeyman Plumber, Carpentry, Welding, Steam and Pipefitting, Masonry, or Electronic Instrumentation.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications and models.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled maintenance duties related to engineering and maintenance functions.
• Reads blueprints, specifications and models to plan and learn work layout.
• Maintains logs, performs rounds and completes tests and inspections.
• Responds to emergency problems and performs emergency repairs as needed.
