Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, is seeking a licensed Architect III to join a collaborative team dedicated to design excellence, sustainability, and innovation. You will work with architects and designers across disciplines to shape a range of educational, cultural, commercial, and government projects.

The ideal candidate is energetic, able to work independently and in teams, and committed to mentoring other design staff while prioritizing project objectives with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect III with demonstrated design excellence.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the conceptual design and provides full support through the entire project.
• Liaises with Project Management, other Architects and consultants.
• Develops and represents lead technical viewpoint on projects.
• Collaborate with project teams through programming, schematic design, and construction documentation.
• Develop design sketches, renderings, models, graphics, presentation materials, analysis, and construction drawings and schedules.
• Participate in the bidding and construction administration of projects including site visits, review of submittals, and responding to contractor questions.
• Communicate and engage with a wide variety of stakeholders including clients, owners, users, team members, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to achieve overall project objectives.
• Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and participation in continuous learning.
• Mentor junior design staff in their professional development.
• Help deliver great projects with energy, passion and personal responsibility.
