Qualifications

• Master of Library Science (MLS) or Master of Library and Information Systems from an ALA-accredited program.
• Three years of professional library work experience required for Senior Librarian level, including two years in supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons in using library services and ensure excellent user experiences.
• Plan, manage and administer professional library services.
• Recruit, schedule, train, and supervise librarians, staff and volunteers.
• Supervise staff delivering library services and contribute to disciplinary processes if needed.
• Promote libraries, services and programs to the community.
