Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Examiner - Liability to analyze complex liability claims across a multi-state jurisdiction. This remote-friendly role supports clients in diverse industries and offers a meaningful, growth-oriented career path within a global leader.

You will negotiate settlements, coordinate with excess carriers, and ensure timely adjudication according to client service standards. A minimum of 5 years’ claims experience is expected, with NY licensing preferred or reciprocal license

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• Licensing: NY preferred; reciprocal license required.
• Nationwide jurisdiction knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process liability claims to determine benefits due with thorough investigation.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority and client requirements.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients; maintain timely updates.
• Report claims to excess carriers and coordinate directions professionally.
