Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience designing lithium battery management systems (BMS).
• General analog design experience and experience creating schematics and PCBs with analog/mixed-signal circuits.
• Experience designing cell sensing, protection, balancing, and isolation circuits for Li battery packs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Organized, focused and results oriented.
• Problem-solving with critical thinking and prioritizing skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design BMS for lithium-ion aviation batteries with emphasis on digital control and analog/mixed-signal hardware.
• Cover the product lifecycle from concept through design, testing and certification to field application.
• Tackle cell sensing, protection, balancing, and isolation circuits for Li battery packs.
• Collaborate with hardware, software and certification engineers to deliver robust solutions.
