Description

DSI is searching for a Sr. Technical Debt Project Manager who has experience as a PM, specifically with the retirement of Mainframe Technologies and the management of technical debt. Experience in a state government environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the work including vendors, costs, and temporary staff.
• Collaborate closely with the large IT Project Manager and Large Project Oversight Project Manager to ensure project success through operational expertise, leadership, and focus on compliance, team performance, and quality assurance.

Requirements

• Proven project management experience, especially in managing technical debt.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.
• Risk management skills related to technical debt.
• Previous experience in retiring Mainframe Technologies as a Project Manager.
• 10+ years managing IT projects.
• 5+ years in software development, systems architecture, IT infrastructure, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• State government experience in Mainframe Technologies retirement.
• ScrumMaster certification.
• GIAC Project Manager or Technical Project Management certification.
