Senior Consultant - Healthcare Project Manager - Remote

A Nordic project manager needs to communicate effectively with executives, peers, and project team members. Our PMs must excel at guiding projects and teams to successful completion. This role requires an experienced health IT Epic project manager who understands the importance of teamwork and meeting project goals. Here are some requirements:

• At least 5 years of Epic project management experience
• Experience managing multiple types and sizes of Epic projects

Senior Consultant

A Senior Consultant provides consulting services to clients on Epic-related projects, including analysis, project management, leadership, or training.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Epic-related consulting and administrative services for Nordic clients
• Apply technical expertise to client system builds to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
• Mentor client project teams in project and system build strategies
• Track and document risks and issues
• Analyze and document workflows
• Collaborate with project leadership, including documentation and facilitation
• Work directly with Epic end users to monitor workflows, document processes, and suggest optimizations
• Lead meetings on project status and coordinate work products
• Perform additional duties as required by individual clients, documented in the client’s statement of work
• Represent the company at corporate functions to meet prospective consultants and strengthen client relationships

Skills and Experience

• At least one Epic certification is required; multiple certifications preferred
• Some project management experience is preferred
• Training roles may not always require Epic certification
• PMP certification is strongly preferred for leadership roles
• Minimum two years of Epic work experience post-certification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask and focus on tasks
• Self-starter capable of maintaining schedules and meeting deadlines
• Highly adaptable to new environments and project changes, including travel
• Ability to mentor and guide others
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and integrity
