Job summary

Swoon is partnering with a major financial institution to hire a Senior Engineer for Lending Technology & Enterprise Integrations in the Chicago area. Hybrid schedule with two onsite days per week at Chicago or Naperville, IL.

The role focuses on implementing and integrating a securities-based lending platform, requiring deep software engineering and a strong understanding of lending technology and enterprise data flows.

Qualifications

• Experience in lending technology and enterprise integrations.
• Strong understanding of APIs, data flows, and system dependencies.
• Hands-on software engineering with ability to work in detail.
• Experience in enterprise banking environments is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the integration of a new securities-based lending platform within a large enterprise banking environment.
• Analyze existing systems to map integration points, interfaces, and data movement.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, product, lending, and QA teams on design and implementation.
• Troubleshoot integration challenges across upstream/downstream systems and vendors.
• Translate complex technical concepts for engineering and business stakeholders.
