Job summary

Hyra is seeking a specialist to design and maintain semantic models, ontologies, and knowledge graphs for US lending products and enterprise data in Charlotte. You will map lending concepts to Snowflake data assets, utilize RDF/OWL/SPARQL, and collaborate with business, governance, and AI/ML teams to enable data discovery, governance, and AI-ready solutions.

This role requires experience with AWS technologies, data modeling, and strong collaboration across multiple stakeholders to implement

Qualifications

• Ontology engineering and semantic modeling for complex data domains.
• Knowledge graph development and RDF/OWL/SPARQL application.
• Experience with Snowflake data assets and data catalogs.
• Hands-on use of AWS services for data platforms.
• Experience with graph databases like Amazon Neptune.
• Understanding of lending data modeling and origination workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and govern ontologies and semantic models for lending products and data assets.
• Model lending concepts across origination, underwriting, servicing, credit risk, and collections.
• Map ontology concepts to physical data models, Snowflake assets, and enterprise catalogs.
• Develop knowledge graphs and semantic layers for data discovery, lineage, integration, and AI use cases.
• Establish ontology governance, naming conventions, and metadata standards.
• Collaborate with business, data, governance, and AI/ML teams to support data quality and enterprise initiatives.
