Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Ontologist for the Lending domain in Charlotte, NC. You will design, develop, and maintain ontologies, semantic models, and knowledge graphs for lending products, collaborating with data architects, governance teams, and AI/ML to align models with enterprise data products.

Map concepts to data models and Snowflake assets, apply RDF/OWL and SPARQL, and leverage AWS services such as Neptune and SageMaker.

Qualifications

7+ years in data modeling or ontology engineering.
5+ years in ontology modeling/semantic technologies.
3+ years with US lending products or lending data.
3+ years with Snowflake and enterprise data environments.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ontologies and semantic models for US lending products.
Define concepts, entities, relationships, taxonomies, and metadata standards across lending domains.
Model end-to-end lending lifecycle (origination, underwriting, servicing, credit risk, collections).
Collaborate with stakeholders to align semantic models with enterprise data products.
Map ontology concepts to physical data models, Snowflake assets, and data catalogs.
Develop knowledge graphs and semantic layers for data discovery and AI use cases.
Use AWS services (Neptune, SageMaker, IAM) to support graph modeling and AI-ready data.
Apply RDF, OWL, SPARQL to ontology models.
Establish governance, naming conventions, and metadata standards.
