  • Significant experience in the legislative process, including Virginia General Assembly.
  • Experience with written and verbal presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, presentation, and execution of the City’s legislative agenda.
  • Monitor state and federal policy, budget proposals, and legislation.
  • Build relationships with General Assembly, Governor’s staff, and congressional offices.
  • Coordinate advocacy and funding opportunities with City departments.
  • Prepare reports and briefings for City Council and leadership.
