Job summary

Everforth ECS seeks a Senior Legislative Affairs Officer to support the Chief of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs at our Springfield, VA site. The role focuses on engagement with Congress, oversight, and executive advising, with a strong emphasis on developing comprehensive engagement strategies and timely responses to inquiries.

Requirements include an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly, a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), and 10+ years of leadership in complex communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years direct experience in legislative affairs in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 10+ years managing complex communication initiatives and advising senior executives.
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly required; ability to obtain/maintain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support Chief of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs and team in interactions with Congress and oversight bodies.
• Develop and execute annual engagement strategies to promote NGA program support.
• Coordinate responses to congressional inquiries and prepare documentation for congressional audiences.
• Provide guidance on procedures, calendar engagements, and briefings for Capitol Hill visits.
