Job summary

Luminance in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Legal Implementation Specialist to guide our largest customers from initial setup to independent use of the platform. You will own multi-jurisdiction deployments, balancing scope and stakeholders while defining scalable configurations.

You will coach colleagues, shape delivery patterns, and feed insights back to Product to improve the platform. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of client-facing experience in legal tech or B2B SaaS - implementation, onboarding, professional services, delivery or customer success - and/or significant relevant legal experience
• Track record of owning complex or high-value implementations end to end
• Fluency with contracts, negotiation positions, approval processes and commercial workflows, and the confidence to interrogate a customer's process
• Proven judgement: distinguishing genuine requirements from product limitations, and presenting a preferred approach to senior stakeholders
• Credibility with executive audiences including General Counsel and procurement leaders
• Strong prioritisation across a demanding portfolio with accuracy under pressure
• Ability to coach others and give direct, constructive feedback
• Comfort setting direction in ambiguity for yourself and others
• Experience crafting effective prompts for AI systems and teaching it

Responsibilities

• Lead implementations for complex, strategically significant or high-value customers with multi-jurisdiction rollouts
• Own discovery to translate broad scope into a sequenced plan
• Design configurations that scale and justify trade-offs credibly
• Manage a portfolio of concurrent implementations against timelines and milestones
• Be escalation point for delivery risk with actionable recommendations
• Lead difficult conversations to reset expectations and recover at-risk implementations
• Coach colleagues and review work against standards
• Define and improve playbooks, configuration standards and training assets
• Provide structured, evidenced product feedback highlighting recurring customer needs
