Job summary

Roofstock seeks a Senior Legal Operations Manager to own how legal work moves through the business—from intake to filing, approval, and payment. This hands-on IC role partners with Finance, People Ops, Compliance, and business teams to build durable workflows, maintain records, and control outside counsel spend.

You will manage CLM (Zip), templates, and self-service tools, administer Zip, Carta, DataSite, and e-signature platforms, and develop dashboards tracking volume, spend, and bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in legal operations, contract management, or paralegal roles with a strong core background (3+ years) in corporate paralegal responsibilities.
• Experience in a high-growth private company or proptech/fintech/real estate environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of indemnification, liability, boilerplate provisions, and multi-jurisdiction corporate governance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Contract Lifecycle Management from intake to routing, workflow optimization, and status tracking.
• Perform initial triage of third-party agreements, flag red flags, and escalate complex issues to attorneys.
• Build templates, playbooks, and self-service tools to reduce bottlenecks.
• Manage repository standards and post-execution filing and signature routing.
• Oversee outside counsel spend, billing guidelines, and monthly accruals.
• Support governance, transactions, and claims with data-driven insights.
• Administer legal tooling and develop dashboards to track volume, spend, and bottlenecks.
